The small town of Gatesville is located nearby where you can enjoy panning for gold in Salt Creek in the summer months.

When you arrive, you will be welcomed by the large covered front porch with comfortable rockers and porch swing.

Upon entering the cabin, you will marvel at the warmth and charm of this cabin. This area has high exposed beamed ceilings, massive stone gas log fireplace, 30-inch HDTV widescreen television, stained glass lights, hickory wood floors, rustic lodge furnishings, antiques, hand-crafted decor, a fully equipped kitchen with custom hickory cabinets, a snack bar, dining area that seats six, and half bath for convenience. There is a private master bedroom and bath located adjacent to the greatroom area. From the dining area you may open up the french doors to the screened porch for dining on those warmer weather days. There is a large upper level deck to grill or to sit and enjoy nature.

As you descend the staircase to the lower level, you'll find a large game room / family room with a fabulous pool table, pub table that seats two, and cd/stereo/mp3 player. The 30" HDTV widescreen television in the family room has a DVD/VHS player. There is also a private master bedroom and bath on this level. A sleeper sofa accommodates extra guests. The french doors in the family room, lead out onto a large covered patio where you may enjoy the awesome 6 person hot tub and the spectacular private wooded view.

The cabin is tastefully decorated throughout with antiques and hand-crafted items made in Indiana to enhance your stay.
