Cut and hand hewn originally in Corydon, Indiana, in 1824, the cabin was moved to its present location and rebuilt in the 1970's. Located next to the Golf Club of Brown County and just 3 miles from Nashville, in a private wooded area.

The large log living room is complete with a queen size sleeper sofa, satellite?tv,?VCR/DVD player and wood burning stove. New electric heat pump heating system with central air added in 2008.

While dining, enjoy overlooking the deck and woods out back. The newly (2008) remodeled?kitchen is furnished with new custom hickory cabinets, all new appiances, all cooking and eating utensils, including a new built-in microwave and coffeemaker.

When you are ready to retire...the two upstairs bedrooms each have queen size beds with colorful handmade quilts and antique furniture. Hardwood floors throughout-add rustic charm to the cabin. The two full baths are supplied with towels and guest soaps.

From the front porch, enjoy the natural, wooded landscape and capture the beauty of the Brown County countryside. Sit in the shade and relax, sit by a fire at our firepit, play a game of hores shoes, play a game of golf next door at the Brown County Golf Club, or catch a music show in town. Whatever you choose, we know you will enjoy your stay in this retreat for a weekend or a week.
